Raison d'être

Let us start by saying what we are not. We are not affiliated with any political, religious or any other propaganda-generating establishment. We are 'regular people' trying to make an honest living with our standard jobs in our attempts to lead happy lives.

However, we have spent a lot of money on our education and continue to educate ourselves everyday as the quest for knowledge never ceases. We read, we think, we're aware & we do not blindly accept anything we're told simply because the source is an 'authority figure' like a government official or one of the major news networks. That means that we are able to think for ourselves and see through the indoctrination, propaganda and BS which govern the every day lives of most people. We are sick and tired of virtually every establishment trying to dictate what is good for us when, in essence, they direct us towards what is good for them, not us.

It is like all of these different establishments are fighting for control of our hearts and minds. Politicians claim to be acting in our best interests by stripping us of our civil liberties under the guise of protecting us from terrorists. We think not.

Religious leaders claims to know what is best for our souls and threaten us with damnation in hell if we do not obey and bow without question to the particular doctrine they preach. Follow along blindly and do not dare question what makes no sense to the logical mind in order to save our souls from damnation?? We think not. Has anybody ever considered that heaven and earth may very well be here & now?

Food and major manufacturing corporations also claim to know what is best for us. Food companies try to make us believe we're healthier if we copiously consume artificial sweeteners, most of which have not even undergone proper tests for possible negative side effects on long-term human consumption, rather than natural sugars like honey or molasses just because we can save a few calories with the artificial sweeteners. Risk possible cancer - often cited as a side effect of such chemical sweeteners on laboratory rats - just to save a few calories? We think not.

Oh yeah, and ever notice how just about everything is made in China? Anyone ever consider what that means not only to us but to the entire world? Ever try to find a small household appliance NOT made in China? You'd have a better chance of tripping over the holy grail on your way to work tomorrow morning than finding a toaster oven made anywhere else but China at your local retailer and don't even get us started on the negative global effects of the 'big box store' boom. When will people realize low price today costs much more than the average person considers when saving a nickel on deodorant or a dollar on that electric can opener? And has anybody ever thought about the minimum wage the Chinese workers get or the conditions they work under? Which countries are the largest environmental polluters?

Where do we start and where do we stop? Everything around us is fake. That is why we created this web site. We can see through the lies and the indoctrination. We can see that everything evolves around power and money. We hope that you will enjoy our stories and comment on them constructively. Please don't email us to tell us our thinking isn't in line with the average public. We already know this and are very very thankful we don't think like everyone else who is completely missing the point.
